Welcome to the Petit Journal our Quarterly Newsletter from Galvin Restaurants |
| We would like to thank all of our much-loved guests for your continued support and good wishes during what has been an incredibly busy and challenging year. We have opened two new restaurants in Spitalfields, La Chapelle which we are thrilled to announce was awarded Restaurant of the Year 2010 by Tatler Magazine Restaurant Guide and Café a Vin. But, it is true to say that we still enjoy ‘rattling the pans’ as much as we have ever done, if not more so and always look forward to seeing you when you visit us at the Bistrot, La Chapelle or Café a Vin. News from Galvin La Chapelle Tracey MacLeod of the Independent wrote in her review that La Chapelle ‘is the kind of place you will see in the movies’ and this statement perfectly describes the glamour and elegance of the restaurant. It certainly is a room with the wow factor. For those of you who have yet to give it a try, the food offering is very similar to that which we have created at the Bistrot. It’s very much what we do best, good honest French Bistrot cooking.La Chapelle is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, so why not join us for Sunday lunch? when we offer a set three course menu at £24.50 per person as well as a Sunday Roast from the wood fired oven and our a la carte selection. Children are very much welcome and we have a Sunday Lunch Children’s menu at £9.50 per person, after all even the youngest minds appreciate a little bit of glamour now and again. |

News from Galvin Café A Vin Our busy little Café next door to La Chapelle offers relaxed, informal and (weather permitting) al fresco dining. Situated on Bishops Square in Spitalfields there is much to entertain with Old Spitalfields Market on the doorstep and a vast array of street culture taking place in and around the area. Many people have found the Café to be a hidden gem with its fixed priced 2 course menu at £14.95 per person and a wine list that promotes natural and biodynamic wines. It’s a great place to hang out with friends and our popular aperitivi hour (4pm – 7pm) provides an excellent opportunity to meet up after work. |
