Spero Panagakis - General Manager Galvin Restaurants
Spero’s career began in Australia working for the Rydges Hotel Group. He moved to London in 1998 joining Conran Restaurants, working at Quaglino’s and progressing to General Manager at the Paternoster Chop House, where he developed a Management Training Program, fast tracking graduates into restaurant management. In 2003 he won the Restaurant Manager of the Year at the Catey Awards. Spero joins Galvin Restaurants as General Manager of La Chapelle, Galvin Café a Vin and Galvin Bistrot de Luxe.
Alessandro Piombino - Restaurant Manager La Chapelle
Alessandro is Restaurant Manager at La Chapelle. He was previously with Conran restaurants at some of their finest restaurants including Orrery, Skylon and the Royal Exchange, opening it's restaurant Sauterelle. Born in Italy, Alessandro came to London in 2003 and was Assistant Restaurant Manager at The Lanesborough Hotel. Andrea Bricarello - Head Sommelier
Head Sommelier and wine buyer Italian native Andrea was previously the Group Sommelier and Wine Buyer for Corrigan's Mayfair, Bentley's Oyster Bar & Grill, and Lindsay House. He has also worked at the Michelin starred Umu and Connaught Hotel Grill room and was named ‘Sommelier of the Year 2009’ at Taste of London in June, as well as being a finalist in the Jacquart Rising Star Competition in 2008.
Sara Galvin - Host Patron
Sara is Host/Patron at Galvin La Chapelle. She has over 20 years experience in hospitality arranging events at some of London’s finest five-star hotels, notably the Ritz, the Savoy and The Lanesborough. Sara returned to the industry in 2005 after taking a career break to raise her and Chris’s three children, becoming host patron for the opening of Galvin Bistrot de Luxe in Baker Street.
