What with all of us reviewers being dazzled by the Galvin bros’ towering achievement, La Chapelle, it’s been easy to overlook this smaller, more modest operation, linked to its snazzy sibling by a narrow aperitivi bar.

In its own understated way, it’s every bit as splendid.
