Jeff and Chris Galvin have enjoyed a close working relationship on a number of occasions, notably at l'Escargot and Orrery. After a formative year under the direction of Anton Edelman at the Savoy Hotel, Jeff progressed to the Michelin-starred Capital Hotel working with Philip Britten as Junior Sous Chef.
In 1994, he joined Nico Ladenis at Chez Nico at 90 Park Lane as Sous Chef, helping to achieve a coveted third Michelin star. After opening Orrery with Chris, he was re-united with David Levin at The Greenhouse in Mayfair in his first Head Chef position. Jeff then went on to join Marco Pierre White at the three Michelin-starred Oak Room, as Head Chef under Robert Read.
From May 2000, Jeff was Executive Chef at l'Escargot where he held a Michelin star for five years. In September 2005, he joined Chris to launch their own first site, Galvin Bistrot de Luxe.
